Handgun Safety Rules:

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.

Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until the weapon is ready pointed at the target and you have decided to fire.

Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
